How was the XT. They’re so funny looking, are do they drive as of as they look?

The two that I had drove really well. The XT6 was much better because it had more power than the 1.8. The blue car above was a much better maintained and reliable than the 6 tho. It was a bit front heavy, and the air suspension is slow to react, like not quick to change direction but fine in a long corner it also provided a very nice ride. It lowers 1" at 50 or 60 mph, I can’t remember. The aero is super good so it was very quiet for wind noise and returned >30 mpg even at >80 mph runs. The 4wd was very advanced and it would go anywhere ground clearance would allow, which surprised many people.

Well it was a shit heap when I got it. Then my dad wanted it back and he gave it to my step sister and she drove it to Missouri where it died. Three of the 4 cylinders had spark plug de-foulers on the plugs because it leaked so much oil past the rings. I never changed the oil just added a quart every 1,000 miles or so.

Sounds like a fun car that matches its odd appearance

The impreza had a solid spoke wheel without the cut out like the WRX, not really chrome, kind of a mat silver stained by tire wet from the idiot dealer. This style was very popular back then.

Hate chrome wheels, but the car was a deal - sitting on the lot, cloth interior.

Same as this but slightly different wires ... and an aftermarket power sunroof that leaked.

I had a 1979 Datsun 510 (we called them Stanzas down here in Oz) for 9 years. Ran brilliantly but eventually rusted out in the doors... got $500 for it on a trade in for a 1990 Camry back at the time
